Teachitright holds 11+ CEM & GL mock exams during the Easter and Summer holidays. These provide the perfect opportunity for students to practise a realistic CEM or GL paper under strict exam conditions. It is a crucial element of 11+ preparation in order for students to fully understand what is expected of them on the day and to help reduce nerves and anxiety.
There are a number of reasons why taking a 11+ mock exam with Teachitright will benefit your child:
Real exam conditions
Our locations are in large school halls which recreate a similar environment to the actual 11+ exam day. The children will take two full length papers which are 45 minutes each with a 15 minute break in between. Each paper will cover verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English comprehension and numerical reasoning. Our qualified teachers will ensure all papers are invigilated accurately. The children will need to register 15 minutes before the exam session starts. When they register they will be given a candidate card and they will then have to find their seat in the school hall.
Same day results
We provide the results the same day with a detailed breakdown of performance. Each area of the exam is broken down into sections and the report will highlight areas that require further development. With instant feedback you can start working on any specific areas required straightaway.
After the children have taken the two papers they will have a chance to review them and any misconceptions they may have. The session is taken by our experienced teachers who will go through the more challenging sections of the papers and also provide exam techniques and tips. Please note that we are unable to hand back the actual papers due to author licensing but you will receive an individual report on performance.
We hold our mock exams at various locations for flexibility. Every Saturday during the summer holidays the papers will be different allowing your child to take multiple papers for practice. We hold 11+ mock exams in Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead and Gerrards Cross. Please see below all the dates and locations.
