At TeachitRight we aim to prepare your child for the 11+ exam.

And here's how we do it...

  • Pupils will receive substantial exam practice and are assessed regularly to monitor their improvement and enable them to gain more confidence before sitting the 11+ exam.

  • Our hourly sessions are carefully designed to make the best use of time available to develop the skills and confidence needed by our pupils to succeed.

  • We work in small groups of a maximum of 8 Pupils. We value the tremendous opportunities that this way of working offers pupils and teachers.

  • The sessions are lively, stimulating and highly interactive in which everyone is engaged and no one is left behind.

  • The teachers involved with the business have plenty of experience with the exam system and know how to convey the relevant information to the children.

Meet our Tutors		  


Name: Chris Pearse
(Company Director)

Chris attended St Mary's University receiving a 2:1 Hons. Sports Science and Geography degree. He then went on to complete his PGCE in 2004

He spent his induction year teaching at Pippins Primary School and continues to teach there. He holds the positions of PE and Geography coordinator.

He started TeachitRight in 2006 and loves his work as a teacher and tutor.
